- Year: 2019
- Olive variety: Lucio 100%
- Region: Alomartes, Granada, Andalucia, Spain
- Harvest: 3rd week of October
Lucio was about to be extinct until these 700 years old trees were found. They are truly relic pieces and are now protected. From just 50 trees, the production is so tiny (only 2.000 bottles) and all the profit goes to plant more new Lucio trees.
Lucio is very buttery and fine in mouth, to then receive a peppery after taste. Simply dip it with a good slowly fermented baguette.
